if you are like most people, making time for a professional family photoshoot is something that you 'never quite get around to'. unfortunately this means that in the future most families don't have any amazing photos of the best times of their lives, or their favourite people to look back upon. 'life happens' and great times with family get less frequent, so it's more important than ever to ensure that you record these amazing family memories on a regular basis throughout your life.

your family photoshoot.
I allocate around 30-60 minutes for most family shoots, however depending on the size of your group it's all pretty flexible. these sessions are chilled and relaxed, with mainly candid and unstaged natural poses. if there are younger kids at the shoot I will keep them interested with games and movement.

locations
if you need help deciding on a suitable location, I have a selection of tried and tested local family photoshoot spots that I can recommend depending on the weather and the crowds. please note that at certain times of year it will be difficult to find uncrowded areas for your shoot, however my experience can help make this much easier for you.

when to book your family photography experience?
I usually suggest later afternoon for the best light. however if you have young kids or you are 'morning people' then we can do an early morning shoot if that suits better. generally I'm happy to work around your plans and stay flexible to fit in with whatever suits you!
pro tip - if you are visiting the Sunshine Coast for a limited time, I always suggest booking your family shoot towards the start of your holiday - that way, if the weather turns bad, we have a few days in which to re-schedule and get the best conditions!

what happens after your photoshoot?
a few days after your shoot I will send your online photo gallery which will contain a beautiful range of images for you to view and select from. your family photoshoot package includes a set number of high quality digital files to download for free. extra digitals, and a beautiful range of printed products are also available via your gallery if required.
pro tip - choosing a package with more images included upfront will be more cost-effective than buying extra digital photos after the shoot,
